LIZ TUNGATE

In May 2012, I first joined Dawn as a student occupational therapist. For six weeks, I had the opportunity to work alongside the team and children at Dawn. During this time, I provided therapy to the children, aiming to improve their quality of life, independence, and overall health and well-being. This experience was invaluable, allowing me to learn a multitude of new skills and knowledge while also sharing my expertise with the team.

I was immediately captivated by Dawn. Upon graduation, I returned as a qualified therapist, eager to continue the work I had begun in May. My time at Dawn was truly enriching; I learned and developed significantly as both a professional and an individual. Working alongside such an amazing and caring team and group of children was a privilege. I hope to return in the future.
