Jane’s journey began with a childhood accident, altering the course of her life with profound leg and foot deformities. Despite her struggles and the financial hurdles that halted her education, Jane clung to a steadfast dream – to become a tailor.
Her aspirations found wings when she joined MIV’s vocational skills training program.
With determination burning bright within her, Jane seized every opportunity to learn, to assist her fellow students, and to excel in her assignments. As she wove her way through the curriculum, her passion and dedication illuminated the halls of the centre. Upon her graduation with honours, Jane’s journey took a remarkable turn. At the end of 2023, Jane’s transformation was completed. From apprentice to an esteemed staff member, she emerged – a testament to resilience and tenacity. Her evolution into a confident woman mirrored the transformation witnessed at MIV – a place where dreams take root and flourish.
