Liz Tungate

I first came to Dawn in May 2012 as a student Occupational Therapist; I worked for six weeks with the
team and children at Dawn. Within the six weeks I was carrying out therapy with the children at Dawn,
aiming to improve quality of life, Independence and overall health and well-being. During this time I was
able to learn so many new skills and knowledge as well as teaching new skills and sharing knowledge
with the team.

I fell in love with Dawn straight away and once I had graduated I returned to Dawn as a
qualified therapist to carry on the work I had started in May. The time I had at Dawn was invaluable,
learning day by day and developing as a professional and an individual. I was lucky to have the
opportunity to work with the most amazing and caring staff and children and hope to return again.
