Signed and framed original batik by nationally recognized artist, Vera Kirk. Vera Kirk created watercolors and batiks depicting the Amish, without faces out of respect for their beliefs. One of her batiks was selected for the Georgia Museum of Art.This batik depicts an Amish boy carrying a basket with his dog. Double matted, framed piece measures 12 inches wide by 16 1/2 inches high. Dark brown frame is distressed wood. Excellent condition.
